Information has been gathered to assist foreign people who have just arrived in
Nara Pref. to lead a pleasant life in the city, town or village they live in. A map with
information on public facilities, business facilities, public transportation, as well as
information on how to dispose of garbage, and advice on shopping and living is available.
The information is on a single sheet size A3 and folded in four which can be conveniently
carried around at all times. A printed version is planned to be available at the Citizen
Registration Department (Jumin Toroku Tanto Ka) of all cities, towns and villages.
The number of towns and villages
providing this information will be gradually increased over time.
