In Japan, people bow to show respect when they greet others.
Basically there are 3 kinds of bows: in order of politeness they are “saikeirei”, “keirei” and “eshaku”.
The depth of each bow is said to be about 45 degrees, 30 degrees and 15 degrees.
Each bow is used according to the circumstances and the person being greeted.

Standard types of heaters in Japan include; “kotatsu” electric/gas stoves, kerosene/gas fan heaters, air conditioners, oil heaters, halogen heaters, etc.
Although the price of halogen heaters and electric stoves maybe cheap, the running cost per hour can be quite expensive.
When choosing a heater, don’t only look at the price of the heater, check the running cost which is usually shown at the stores.
By the way, the “kotatsu” is one heater that is cheap to buy and has a low electricity bill.
